Joel Long

Joel is the CEO and co-founder of Rook Advisors, LLC. His leadership and multi-faceted  experience has been crucial in the creation and continual growth of the business, always setting the highest standards of service excellence. He has personally lead many of Rook Advisor’s most important projects. 

Joel has worked in a number of different fields, including consulting, software development, firearms instruction, and even as a reserve Sergeant for a Sheriff’s Office. Outside of work, Joel enjoys spending time outdoors and leatherwork. However busy his professional life gets, Joel always makes precious time for fatherhood.

Eric McConkey

Eric is the Chief Information Officer and co-founder of Rook Advisors, LLC. He is an experienced technologist, communicator, and business leader, bringing his considerable knowledge and management abilities to the table for every client. 

Eric’s career in IT is extensive, beginning as a technician in the United States Airforce and continuing with his formation of several consulting and cloud computing companies, harnessing his skill set for application development, server and network management.  

Even outside of work, he spends a lot of time with technology and computers, as an inventor, explorer and guide. 

Anthony Prudencio 

Anthony is the Director of Field Services at Rook Advisors. He has been critical in the development of workforce skills and knowledge far and above those expected in a typical IT environment. Anthony began his career working in call centers, where he quickly took on a leadership role training and developing others into successful agents. From there, he worked in a variety of IT management roles, demonstrating an ability to rapidly learn new systems and perform root cause analysis. 

At Rook Advisors he leads a team that handles everything from project planning to emergency response services, orchestrating everything from small break-fix resolutions to the rebuilding of entire infrastructures.  Outside of work, Anthony enjoys building home automation systems, as well as singing and playing guitar and board games such as Settlers of Catan and Forbidden Desert. Beyond the home his most recent challenge is golf. 

Chris Bach

Chris has been an invaluable member of the Rook Advisors Field Services Management Team since 2018, instrumental in establishing and sustaining a host of long standing customer relationships. He holds a number of accreditations including A+, Network+, Security+ and CCNA. 

Chris began his career in IT working for a dialup ISP, before enlisting in the Army and spending 5 years at Ft. Carson in Colorado Spring, Co. He spent a total of 27 months deployed in Iraq, where his natural leadership and ability to perform under pressure was tested to the extreme, helping shape the person and IT expert he is today. Outside of the workplace, you can often find Chris at local breweries or spending time with his girlfriend...and their two cats.

Richard Raesly

Richard is an Advisor and one of the newest members of the Rook Advisors IT Services team. In only a short time Richard has earned a stellar reputation with both clients and co-workers, valued as a positive thinker, forever eager to expand his learning.

Richard first demonstrated his determination and integrity while serving as an airman in the US Airforce. During that time, he became a Nuclear Weapons Specialist. 

Richard is an IT hobbyist who excels at video gaming. However as a break from the screen, he is always enthusiastic about a “good hike” and since moving here from Mississippi has enjoyed exploring all New Mexico has to offer.

Kon Kabilafkas

Kon is a Senior Advisor at Rook Advisors and an invaluable member of the team whose skills include IT services management, virtualization, cloud computing. 

Kon has worked as both a Project and Systems Engineer,  starting out at Invisage, before being promoted through various positions at BlueFire and IMC Communications. With twelve years of experience in IT, Kon has the incredible ability to devise a technological solution that seems intuitively suitable for any given business. When not working, Kon enjoys complex games of strategy, such as Magic: The Gathering.

Brandon Cook

Brandon is always willing to take on new challenges and brings value with his positive attitude, reliability, and hard work ethic.

Brandon began his career in IT working as a systems administrator for a veterinary hospital. While a systems admin, he simultaneously attended college and studied for the CCNA and MSCA. After graduating with a degree in networking technologies, he spent some time away from work as a stay-at-home father.

Brandon enjoys working with computers, watching movies, and cooking outside of work. He also loves spending time with his family, dogs, and cats.
